ATC winner of the 2009 Cincinnati Better Business Bureau Torch Award

Cincinnati, OH, October 23, 2009 – An independent panel of judges has named Mason, OH-based ATC as the winner of the Better Business Bureau’s 2009 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, giving recognition and honors to those businesses and organizations who fully commit to ethical practices in all aspects of their business dealings. The BBB, founded with a mission to ensure that all share in a fair and equitable marketplace, announced the 2009 Torch Award Recipients and Honorees on Thursday, October 22nd at Cincinnati Music Hall.

Applicants were strictly judged on how their organization exemplified the following criteria:
• Company’s position regarding integrity and ethical practices in the workplace.
• Practices concerning the training of its employees and corporate officers in implementing ethical behavior.
• Positive, honest, fair, reliable, and responsive to its customers, suppliers, and employees.
• Ethics in marketing, advertising, communications and fairness in competition, and accuracy in representation of its products and services.
The Torch Award finalists were selected by a distinguished panel of independent judges. The judges evaluated the applications based on the eight judging criteria established by the Council of Better Business Bureaus and the International Torch Award Program.

The Cincinnati BBB was founded in 1926 and the Torch Awards are a continuation of the BBB’s 83-year tradition and commitment to furthering its mission of promoting ethical conduct in the marketplace.
