ATC Adds to Hospitality IT and Super Support

Carlos Lugo to Direct ATC’s Burgeoning Hospitality IT Division

ATC Cincinnati recently welcomed top-tier talent to two distinct areas of the business: Hospitality IT and Super Support. Recently, Carlos Lugo came on board to lead ATC’s expanding Hospitality IT division. In addition, Chris Roberts has been added to strengthen ATC’s Super Support™ team.

Lugo is an industry IT veteran with a professional dedication to the Hospitality segment—specifically hotel operations—and the “guest experience.” As the director of ATC’s Hospitality IT division, Lugo will spearhead the blossoming division, which has provided a unique niche in the market that has gained traction with hotel operators nationwide and abroad.

Specifically, Lugo will be charged with aligning hotel properties with the right technologies and solutions to optimize the guest experience, while adhering to the brand standards of each hotel and the goals and objectives of the owner-operator. In doing so, Lugo will be able to lean on ATC’s solution-agnostic approach, marketplace of over 400+ technology providers, proven process, and Super Support.

“Our Hospitality IT practice is currently managing and supporting over 100 hotel properties. We have more in queue to onboard,” says ATC CTO, Nick Enger. “Carlos has a great foundation and support system from which to work. We are excited about the talent and industry-specific expertise he brings to the team and him taking it to the next level.”

“ATC has a great foundation, go-to-market strategy, and support system in place… all wrapped around Hospitality IT,” adds Lugo. “As a dedicated Hospitality IT professional, I look forward to digging in and pursuing my passion. ATC’s organizational culture and vision to support and advance hotel IT operations attracted me to the opportunity.”

Lugo is originally from the Dominican Republic and has lived in New York, Maryland, and Virginia. He currently resides in Florida. Carlos is married with four children. Lugo enjoys travel, cooking, coaching baseball, and spending time with his family.

Roberts Joins ATC

Chris Roberts recently joined ATC and will initially work with ATC’s Super Support team while learning the ins and outs of ATC’s next-gen technology consulting practice. He will also work closely with ATC’s core consulting group—its Delta Team

Roberts is a Cincinnati native with loads of IT experience. Most recently, he was a Systems and Field Team Engineer for a Cincinnati-based Managed Service Provider (MSP), where he implemented technology projects on the client’s behalf. He currently holds a Comp TIA A+ Certification, and is a Certified Meraki Networking Associate (CMNA), and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).

“I’m excited to see Chris come in and make a difference within the organization,” says ATC CAO, Clayton Connor. “His technical aptitude and IT experience should be a great foundation for him to learn the ATC way. He will be exposed to many different technologies and solutions within our marketplace.”

“I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to build my IT aptitude and Cisco knowledge-base,” adds Roberts. “With ATC, I get to expand on that experience, broaden into different segments of IT, and learn a different approach to serving clients. It’s an exciting time to be in the industry.”

In his free time, Roberts enjoys golfing, watching baseball and football, video games, and movies. He also enjoys four-wheeling and camping, and vacationing in Tennessee and Florida.
