Advanced Technology Consulting (ATC) is a semi-finalist being recognized as “Best in Class” at the upcoming 19th Annual Goering Center Family & Private Business Awards.
As a semi-finalist, ATC will be further evaluated by an independent panel of judges who will be looking at the breakthroughs and accomplishments that distinguished their business – and the Cincinnati region – in 2018. The 2018 Goering Center Family & Private Business Award winners will be announced at the awards gala this fall at the JACK Cincinnati Casino on September 11, 2018.
This annual recognition program honors Cincinnati regional businesses that exemplify the best in family and private business practices. This is the third time ATC has been honored for this award (2013 and 2014). Each year nearly 500 businesses are nominated for these awards and from those nominees, only 75 semi-finalists are selected. See the list of semi-finalists here.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to be recognized by the Goering Center,” says ATC’s co-founder and managing partner, David Goodwin. “The Goering Center has been a valuable asset to me as a private business owner. I enjoy the collaboration with like-minded business leaders. The educational programming has helped me guide the business.”
Three awards will be presented in each of two divisions: family business and private business. Additionally, the 2018 Goering Center Hall of Fame winner and the Baldwin Volunteer of the Year will both be celebrated, and the Goering Center will recognize its second annual Rising Leader – one of nine emerging leaders who are shaping the future of Cincinnati businesses.
Special Tribute to John Goering, Lachey Returns
The Goering Center will also pay special tribute to its founder and benefactor, John Goering, as he steps down from the Board of Directors later this year. Queen City native, Drew Lachey, returns to host this year’s awards. Come celebrate with ATC. Register here to attend.
Companies submitted applications that summarized their accomplishments in the following areas: a big business breakthrough that set the business on a new trajectory; an approach to leadership and employee development that shows a commitment to team members’ personal growth; shaping a culture for performance, inclusion and engagement; community development; and job growth and investment.
“It was our job as judges to pick the company in each of the categories that was best able to articulate their impactful story and best enlighten us as to how they fit into the fabric of a successful business community,” said Mike Miller, Executive Vice President and Trust Department Head, LCNB National Bank. “It was a tough challenge, but we believe that our choices reflect the very best of the Family and Private business community.”
