comSpark clearly has a focus this year on cyber security and ATC will as well. ATC has two excellent EDU speaking sessions coming up at comSpark 2019, featuring subject matter experts from valued partner Open Systems. ATC and Open Systems have partnered to promote SD-WAN and cyber security solutions for enterprises.

The partnership draws upon ATC’s decades of experience, strategic relationships and extensive market knowledge in deploying disruptive technologies that provide real benefits to clients. Based on conversations with clients, ATC recognized the need for a simple approach to security operations and was impressed with Open Systems’ method of providing a secure SD-WAN and SOC-as-a-Service.

“Monitoring to Minimize Security Risk”
11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., Northern Lights Ballroom B1
Dave Martin, Senior Director – Threat Response, Open Systems
Louie Hollmeyer, Director, Advanced Technology Consulting (ATC)

Description: Despite best efforts and substantial financial investment, costly breaches continue to happen at an alarming rate. The common approach to securing assets by purchasing sophisticated, layered security technologies is not working. These technologies are necessary but not enough. A best practice model to minimize risk combines technology with continuous monitoring by security experts in a SOC. This session presents a model for effectively monitoring hybrid, multi-cloud environments. It covers the basic architecture of a modern SOC and proposes a pragmatic approach to providing complete visibility into all potential attack surfaces.
