Visit ATC and Darktrace Midwest Summit 2022

ATC has partnered with Darktrace for the 7th annual Cybersecurity Midwest Summit on Thursday, September 29th, 2022, in Cincinnati, OH. Darktrace is a global leader in cybersecurity AI and was named one of TIME Magazine’s “Most Influential Companies” in 2021. Darktrace protects over 7,400 clients from the world’s most complex cyber threats. Darktrace is delivering on its vision of a Cyber AI loop, an industry-first set of cyber capabilities that will not just prevent, detect, respond, and heal from cyber-attacks, but do it all at once.

Darktrace is a leading cybersecurity provider within ATC’s marketplace of over 400 technology providers in four core segments: voice, network, cloud, and cybersecurity. ATC will share co-exhibit with Darktrace and collectively participate on two panel discussions. Booth visitors and panel attendees will be eligible to win prizes. ATC and Darktrace will be in booth #9.

The Cybersecurity Midwest Summit will spotlight IT and security executives from leading organizations in the region and throughout the Midwest. This year’s lineup will include over 100 panelists, 30 breakout sessions, and four keynote speakers. Conference tracks will cover cloud security, zero trust, operational security, best practices, cyber workforce, and more.

Goodwin and Enger to Moderate Panels

ATC will be leading two-panel discussions. The first, “Shared Responsibility: Delivering Cloud Security Architecture,” moderated by ATC’s CTO, Nick Enger, will be at 10 a.m. in Room 3. ATC’s Doug Neiheisel will serve on the panel with Darktrace’s John Allen. ATC’s second panel, “Trust No One: Delivering Zero-Trust Architecture,” moderated by ATC Co-Founder & Managing Partner, David Goodwin, will be at 2:45 p.m. in Room 5. John Allen will serve on this panel as well.

Title: Shared Responsibility: Delivering Cloud Security Architecture
Abstract: Work-from-home and anywhere operations have led to a 50% increase in cloud adoption. Unfortunately, it has also led to a 630% increase in attacks on cloud accounts. Listen to our team of experts discuss the challenges of data security in the cloud, special considerations, and how to mitigate risk.
Time: 10 a.m.
Room: 3
Moderator: Nick Enger (ATC)
Panelists: Cedric Wells (Gorilla Glue), Anthony Fisic (Battelle), Doug Neiheisel (ATC), John Allen (Darktrace)

Title: Trust No One: Delivering Zero-Trust Architecture
Abstract: Most IT leaders cut their teeth on perimeter-based security. As “identity” becomes the new perimeter (not just users have an identity, but also systems, devices, and applications), how does adopting a Zero Trust (ZT) architecture into your current ecosystem affect business as usual, and is it worth it? Listen to our team of experts discuss their journeys to Zero Trust while providing tips and angles you may not have considered.
Time: 2:45 p.m.
Room: 5
Moderator: David Goodwin (ATC)
Panelists: Shibu Varghese (City of Dayton), David Sims (Anthem), Scott Avart (Archer Daniel Midland), John Allen (Darktrace)

Darktrace’s Cyber AI Loop

Darktrace is delivering the first-ever Cyber AI Loop, fueling a continuous security capability that can autonomously spot and respond to novel in-progress threats within seconds. Darktrace’s product suite, powered by AI, learns every detail of each unique environment, building an evolving understanding of “self” to spot subtle deviations indicative of a vulnerability or threat. For every interaction across the digital ecosystem, Darktrace asks, “Is this normal?” based on raw datapoints and AI-enhanced data features.
