Mason, OH, July 1, 2014 – Advanced Technology Consulting’s (ATC) Co-Founder and Managing Partner, David Goodwin, was recently accepted to the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber‘s premier leadership program—Leadership Cincinnati. As a participant in Class 38, Goodwin gains the privilege of participating in a flagship development program that has a long and proud history, and a strong alumni association.

Goodwin was chosen from a large, competitive pool of outstanding applicants. Leadership Cincinnati is designed for established, senior leaders looking to make a difference in the community. Many of the region’s top business and community leaders are graduates of Leadership Cincinnati USA.

“I look forward to making an impact within the program,” says Goodwin, “I know the program will also positively affect me and help me grow into a more impactful contributor to our community.”

Goodwin established ATC in 1999 with co-founder Darren DeMartino. Goodwin leads the ATC Cincinnati office (Mason, OH), and DeMartino leads the Hartford office (South Windsor, CT). In the early days, ATC assisted customers with switched and dedicated long distance services. Since, ATC has expanded its telecom services, helping leaders of organizations with voice and data networks, cloud migration, VoIP phone systems, bandwidth and back-up.

Leadership Cincinnati
Each Leadership Cincinnati class is selected to represent the diverse community in which we live. Participants bring a wide variety of experiences and perspectives to the program, including those from large corporations as well as small companies and entrepreneurs; from for-profit and not-for-profit organizations; and from various ethnicities and personal backgrounds. It is this diversity that makes the program special, giving participants the knowledge, skills and confidence to assume greater responsibility for shaping the future as a region.

Each month Class 38 will step out of their comfort zone via “field trips” and encounter people from every strata of the community. In addition, each class leaves their mark through a class project. In the past, this has included creating the Charitable Pharmacy (which filled $4.9 million of prescriptions for free in 2013); the Power Pack program (which provides critical food for nearly 4,000 students in 90 schools every week); Cincy Bikes and the breakthrough Preschool Promise program that has placed access to quality preschool on the region’s agenda.

ATC 2013
2013 marked a banner year for ATC. Both regional offices exceeded previously held revenue highs. Advanced implementations, new customers, bandwidth upgrades, and cloud migrations led to record annual revenue. But, more importantly, what made the year monumental was ATC’s continued community support and outreach.

ATC contributed time and resources to approximately 16 differentcommunity organizations and non-profits. The Cincinnati ATC team volunteered for organizations such as Dress for Success Cincinnati and Matthew 25: Ministries.
